A crowd of more than 3,000 alumni and alumnae, guests, and members of the Rensselaer community will gather October 1-4 to take part in Reunion & Homecoming. While traditional Class Reunions still take place (this year for classes ending in 0 or 5), many other groups are returning to campus to celebrate reunions, anniversaries, and milestones. Among the special interest groups planning events are athletics teams and Greek organizations.
Alumni are also invited to sit in on a selection of actual classes as part of Back to Class, several departments will host open houses, a 5K will be held Saturday morning, and several athletic competitions will take place, including men’s hockey vs. St. Thomas, and the Reunion & Homecoming football game against the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
The campus community is asked to be on the lookout for alumni guests over the weekend, and to help make their campus experience a good one. Anyone who needs assistance may visit Registration at the Heffner Alumni House Thursday-Saturday, or call (518) 276-6205.
Visit the website for a complete schedule of events and details. The campus is invited to sign up for any events of interest. If you need help registering, contact the Alumni Office at (518) 276-6205 or alumni@rpi.edu.
