On October 24, Rensselaer kicked off its 2017 United Way campaign. The United Way Committee will be taking pledges and raising awareness about United Way through a series of events that will take place through the end of the campaign on December 8.

“United We Fight, United We Win” is the theme of this year’s campaign. The United Way’s mission is to bring people and resources together to achieve measurable and sustainable improvement in the quality of life for members of our community. Many of the agencies receiving contributions from the United Way would not be able to provide services to their communities without your donations. It is United Way’s commitment to improve lives, and by doing so, build stronger communities for all residents of the Capital Region.

Rensselaer has always been a proud supporter of the United Way. In times when so much help is needed, the committee is hoping that Rensselaer faculty and staff will make an investment in the Capital Region community by helping the Institute to achieve 100 percent participation.
