Anne Bilynsky, director for employment operations and compensation, has been appointed a member at large to the Northeastern New York Chapter of the College and University Professional Association for HR (CUPA-HR).

Caren Canier, professor of arts, is featured in a student-run publication of the College of Architecture, Art and Planning at Cornell University. Canier is a member of the Class of ’74 at Cornell. Association, Vol. 6 highlights a series of her recent paintings that feature West Hall on the Rensselaer campus.

Mariana Figueiro, professor and light and health program director at the Lighting Research Center, has been invited to serve on the editorial board of the newly formed journal, Sleep Health: Journal of the National Sleep Foundation. In addition, her research paper titled “Individually tailored light intervention through closed eyelids to promote circadian alignment and sleep health” was selected for publication in the inaugural issue, due for release March 2015.
