The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Athletics Hall of Fame has inducted six new members. The Class of 2013 consists of Patrick Fell ’05 (swimming), Paul Louderback ’99 (baseball), Jimmy Motzkin ’06 (football/track & field), Dan Quinn ’05 (baseball), Rosina Schiff ’06 (ice hockey), and Tom Schneider ’06 (basketball)
“We are excited about this incoming class,” said Director of Athletics Jim Knowlton. “They are incredible representatives of our scholar-athletes and have proven with their performance on and off the field that they are deserving of this honor.”
Among the highlights from this class are a three-time National CoSIDA Academic All-America (Fell); an NCAA record-setting reliever (Louderback); a two-time National All-American in the javelin (Motzkin); the school’s all-time leader in home runs (Quinn); the national leader in save percentage (Schiff); and a former Liberty League Player of the Year (Schneider).
The former student-athlete were inducted at the annual Athletics Hall of Fame Banquet held during Reunion & Homecoming Weekend.
