The Frederick M. Nussbaum ’30 Memorial Award for Outstanding Volunteerism is an opportunity to recognize an outstanding Rensselaer junior in recognition of her/his volunteer activities or civic involvement by bettering the community in and around Rensselaer.

The campus community is invited to nominate a junior class student for this award (the award will not be formally given until the student’s senior year). The nomination must detail the experiences of the nominated student and may include supporting material such as references. Nominators may be students, staff, faculty, alums or community members.

Nominations are due March 16 by 5 p.m. The recipient or recipients are selected by a campus committee and will be announced at a program in April 2018. The award will be formally presented in the fall of 2018. Questions can be directed to Maria Roberts at francm5@rpi.edu or Jade Felder at feldej@rpi.edu.
