Members of the Center for Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Studies would like to thank all who participated in the T-shirt design contest as part of the 10th anniversary celebration of the center. There were over 65 unique and interesting entries. They are happy to announce that the winner of the contest is Chris Neale, who received an iPad mini in a ceremony held on Nov. 5 as a part of “Medical Device Day.”
Neale is a postdoctoral fellow working with Professor Angel Garcia. Due to the relatively complex graphics of his entry, they were unable to satisfactorily reproduce the image on a T-shirt.
The final T-shirt was designed by the Office of Strategic Communications and External Relations. Those who attended the anniversary kickoff event were given a free T-shirt.
