Volunteers are needed to assist with Commencement 2016 and the President’s Picnic. This year’s ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 28, at 8:30 a.m. in the East Campus Athletic Village Stadium (ECAV). Immediately following the ceremony, there will be a campuswide picnic for the graduates, their families, and the entire Rensselaer community.
The volunteers have always been critical in making the ceremony a memorable occasion for our graduates and their families. Rensselaer volunteers add a personal touch and familiar face to the Commencement experience. Commencement would not be possible without their dedicated time and experience.
Anyone wishing to volunteer for Commencement must complete the Commencement Volunteer Form online. This year’s form incorporates the work authorization form information required by Human Resources.
The date for this year’s training session is Wednesday, May 18, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the ECAV arena.
Please volunteer as early as possible and no later than Friday, April 29, for planning purposes.
