Rensselaer finished the regular season with a 6-5 overall record, and a 4-3 mark in Liberty League play. The Dutchman Shoes trophy has been awarded to the winner of this annual college football game between Rensselaer and Union College since 1950, making it the oldest football rivalry in the state of New York.
