On Nov. 5, Civil Engineering Department Head Chris Letchford and 24 civil engineering students visited the George Washington Bridge for an in-depth “engineer’s tour” of the bridge structure and the inner workings of one of the country’s busiest transportation facilities. This was the seventh annual tour, which started with a visit from Professor Thomas Zimmie and his students back in 2008. Hector Eugui III ’96, manager of the physical plant at the George Washington Bridge & Bus Station, (in green vest, kneeling), hosted the group.
