The 2015 Liberty League Fall All-Academic Team has been announced and 67 Rensselaer student-athletes were honored. Student-athletes must have at least sophomore athletic and academic standing at Rensselaer with a minimum grade point average of 3.20 to be selected. The fall sports include men’s and women’s cross country, field hockey, football, and men’s and women’s soccer.

Among those recognized were 21 student-athletes from football, 14 from men’s soccer, 10 from men’s cross country, eight from women’s cross country and women’s soccer, and six from field hockey.

“These student-athletes who have achieved academic distinction are representative of The New Polytechnic,” said Lee McElroy, director of athletics. “They excel academically, athletically, and in leadership endeavors that will prepare them for lifelong success in their personal and professional pursuits. I could not be more proud of their feats!”
