Rensselaer hockey fans are invited to the Heffner Alumni House on Saturday, February 24, for a popular men’s ice hockey tradition—the Big Red Freakout Ice House.
Ice House begins at 4:30 p.m., as fans gather for a pre-game buffet dinner and pep rally where they can enjoy a performance by the RPI Pep Band, and face-painting and “tattoo” services provided by the Red & White Student Organization. A free shuttle will take fans to the Houston Field House for the game, and back to the Heffner Alumni House post-game for a reception with a cash bar, complimentary hot drinks, desserts, and snacks, and a chance to meet the team and coaching staff.
