The popular men’s ice hockey tradition known as the Big Red Freakout is in its 36th year, and Rensselaer hockey fans are invited to the annual Big Red Freakout Ice House to celebrate.
Hockey fans will gather at the Heffner Alumni House on Saturday, February 8, beginning at 4:30 p.m., for a pre-game buffet dinner and pep rally, complete with a visit from Puckman, the RPI Pep Band, and face-painting and “tattoo” services provided by the Red & White Student Organization. Fans are invited to return to the Heffner Alumni House post-game for drinks, desserts, and snacks, and the chance to meet the team and coaching staff. Get an autograph and meet your favorite players while you enjoy a cash bar and complimentary hot drinks, desserts, and snacks.
