Larry Chambers, Rensselaer’s director of financial aid, participated in a Capitol Hill briefing Sept. 17 for the New York Congressional Delegation on the topic of the Higher Education Act. Chambers took part in a panel discussion titled “Nuts and Bolts: Federal Financial Aid Programs and Students in New York State.” The event was sponsored by the Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities, the City University of New York, and the State University of New York.
