This special Reunion & Homecoming event will feature VoicePlay, an a cappella group that gained fame on TV’s The Sing Off. Their performance is unlike any theatrical experience available today, recreating the orchestrated sound of an entire musical production with nothing but the human voice. The night also will feature all four of Rensselaer’s student a cappella groups—Duly Noted, Partial Credit, Rensselyrics, and Rusty Pipes.
The show begins at 8 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC). Tickets are general admission, and are on sale now at the EMPAC box office. Cost is $15 for alumni, faculty, staff, and children 12 and older; $8 for students and children under 12; $15 for a non-RPI student (with a valid ID); and $20 for all others.
