Rick Mastracchio

Astronaut Rick Mastracchio ’87 will have a long-distance question-and-answer session with students from his three alma maters–RPI, U Conn, and University of Houston–live from the International Space Station. During the 21-minute live Skype call, Mastracchio will take questions from students. The three universities will each have a seven-minute session with the astronaut.

Mastracchio graduated in 1987 with a master’s degree in electrical engineering. Mastracchio is currently serving as flight engineer aboard the International Space Station for the Expedition 39 crew. This is his fourth NASA Space Shuttle mission.
