The United Way Committee at Rensselaer is holding the first annual Rensselaer Runs United 5K run/walk and fall festival on Sunday, Oct. 1, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Rensselaer Technology Park. In addition to the 5K run/walk, there will be a kids’ fun run beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Individual runner advance cost is $25; race day individual runner cost is $35. The kids’ fun run cost is $2. Rensselaer students will receive a $10 discount using the code “RPI Student” at checkout
As part of the fall festival, CLINK and LL Bean will be at the event with games and prizes. There will also be a food truck on site and activities for kids.
In the spirit of fun competition, departments and offices are encouraged to field teams for the event.
