The Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) recently hosted a basketball event for the Special Olympics in the East Campus Athletic Village. Members of the Rensselaer men’s and women’s basketball teams were on hand to “cheer loudly” and interact with the Special Olympics athletes. Approximately 50 Rensselaer student-athletes took part in the daylong event.
